In
the past BPSI has worked with very interesting Embedded
Systems project which are being used in Healthcare
sectors. Recently BPSI is developing a new range
of Embedded Systems based products to be used in
individual healthcare.
Brief
Information of one of the products
The diagram shown on this page relates to a device
called as Smart Pill Box.
This is a Microprocesser based device which is
capable of sending the data to Remote Internet
Server.
Smart Pill Box is capable of holding Pill Boxes,
calculating weight of the Pills and Pill Boxes,
weight after pills have been dispensed, time stamp,
date, Pill type and other required data over the
telephone line or Ethernet link.
The data is transferred in DTMF format.
Smart Pill Box has the programs loaded to perform
all the above functions. Since it is a modular
device, BPSI has already developed new modules
to send signals and data to the smart pill box
from the remote servers.R & D is in progress
to make this device a plug and play with Windows
OS.
